MissData's Projects

Tsila Hassine examines the shifts in contemporary culture brought upon by accelerated digitization processes. Her works question the unbearable lightness of connectivity and negotiate the price of constantly remaining ״on." She earned an MFA in Media Design from the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam and was a research fellow at the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Art&Media laboratory, Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne. Her work has been exhibited at the Contemporary Art Center, Tel Aviv; The Israeli Center for Digital Art; the Jerusalem Science Museum; Transmediale, Berlin; Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven; Smart Project Space, Amsterdam; Gasworks, London, the Venice Biennale, and more.
