Image Tracer (2005)

Trace: a mark or line left by something that has passed…

Image Tracer is a collaborative work with De Geuzen. This project adds the temporal dimension to internet content's otherwise somewhat flat, momentary, and memoryless character. Juxtaposing the results of repeated searches delineates the dynamics of stagnation and change of the online image.
